Live 2 Tell

Live 2 Tell

Live 2 Tell is a project responding to the recent, dramatic rise in antisemitism in the US and around the world. Through photography, video and first-person interviews, Live 2 Tell documents the testimony of the last living Holocaust survivors while we still have the chance. The project aims to elevate consciousness and spark conversation about the parallels between past and present.

According to a recent poll, 20% of 18-29 year olds believe the Holocaust is a myth. While the Jewish experience through human history is one of persecution and the will to overcome it, awareness of that history is at risk. Live 2 Tell launched its first major effort around Holocaust Remembrance Day, when Laub’s images of and quotes from Holocaust survivors were displayed across the Brooklyn Bridge and over 25 other New York City public landmarks, leading viewers back to a website and Instagram/TikTok feeds @live2tell, where survivors’ stories and related educational content are shared. The projections were seen across Manhattan and Brooklyn, including the Williamsburg Bridge, Whitney Museum, West Side Highway, Midtown Ferry Terminal, and landmarks across Soho, Dumbo and Williamsburg.
